White HeavyGesso … an opaque, white, matte ground for priming a surface– Finnabair Art Basics by Prima Marketing.

High quality gessofor arts and crafts, including mixed media, collage, sculpture and painting.

Has a light texture and provides a light tooth to slick, glossy and non-workable surfaces making the paint and mediums adhere to their surface. Dries opaque. Apply with a brush, palette knife or silicone tool. Air dries quickly or speed dry with a heat tool.

Works well as both a primer and sealer on most surfaces including canvas, wood, paper, metal, chipboard, stone, glass, fabric and plastic.

Dries toa non-yellowing, whitematte layer. Gesso is water-based, but permanent and flexible after drying. Able to bemixed with pigments and acrylic paints to create a range of customised coloured grounds.
