The Canadian International Philatelic Exhibition, CAPEX 78, was held at the Canadian National Exhibition Grounds in Toronto from June 9 to 18, 1978. This was the nation’s second international stamp exhibition, the first having been held in 1951. CAPEX 78 will commemorate the centennial of Canada’s entry into the Universal Postal Union.
