In the nineteenth century and through to the 1920’s when it met with the Art Deco Movement, the Egyptian Revival style became prolific. And with so much beauty and meaning to be found in Egyptian symbols, motifs, mythology, patterns, flora and fauna, this is no surprise. This collection draws on all of those things; the pyramid and the sphinx, heiroglyphs, references to palm fronds, lotus blossoms and reeds, to bring to life a range of wearable art as a homage to th region and the moment in time.
